3.KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
To lead internal support staffs and external resources to monitor the system design for Tunnels.
To monitor and assist the establishment of the project requirements document including the functional requirement manual and design standard manual for the Tunnel.
To provide assistance in the preparation of tender documents.
To ensure the design basis of project is maintained and/or changes agreed by actively involving other relevant Rail Agency Departments.
To monitor the Tunnel design, maintenance, equipments implementation, testing and commissioning.Conduct frequent site visits to ensure work progress and to prepare related reports to line management and Project Managers.
Monitor and ensure Contractor and Engineer performance and activities related to the Tunnel network in support of the maintenance PM team.
Verification of test procedure, work procedure as per contract standards specs.
Provide technical advice on all matters concerning contractor design and the maintenance of tunnels
Ensure appropriate cost-effective solutions are achieved consistent with safety, quality and environmental standards
Monitor the delivery of sub surface civil and structural works with the Maintenance Tunnel Engineer including underground stations cut & covers tunnels, bored tunnels, foundations and associated E&M works.
Post-contract stage review of project designs, documents, reports and drawings.
Provide assistance in the resolution of technical and commercial issues to ensure timely contract completion.
Provide specialist advice to senior management on all aspects of the project and make technical presentations as required.
Verification of test procedure, work procedure as per contract standards specifications
Ensuring all relevant documents, drawings report, warranties, certificate are in compliance with standards and are handed over in due time to the operation at the project handing over.
Monitor continuously the risk register and ensure contractor/consultants are implementing all mitigation measures and report on any deviation.
To provide support to external consultancies related to design and maintenance of tunnel structures.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position.

Bachelor degree Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Excellent knowledge and intensive experience with international civil infrastructure projects, functions, systems, procedures and knowledge of management software such as primavera is advantageous.
Demonstrated essential leadership skills in identifying and handling technical challenges in the specialty subject area.
Substantial contribution to technical publications in the specialty subject or related disciplinary areas.
Possess international knowledge in specialty area and demonstrated global strategic vision.
