Project / business overview

General Summary:

This position is responsible for performing tasks involved in administration of employee programs and services for the HR Generalists group, ensuring that the programs are within compliance of legal/corporate requirements. The incumbent has advanced knowledge of a subject area or discipline and acts as subject matter expert. He/she integrates understanding of emerging business/industry trends and implications for own area. This position provides technical or business-related leadership and guidance and may serve as lead technical resource on major regional projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
This is the subject matter expert, senior-level position in the HR family which includes Benefits, Compensation, Diversity, Employee Relations, HR Generalists, HRIS. Learning & Organizational Development, or Recruiting.
Provides general HR oversight or technical support to enterprise leadership, major programs or projects, and/or clients (BG, CG, Geographies).
Develops, leads and implements enterprise / regional HR initiatives.
Performs complex analyst duties and ultimately accountable for recommending solutions.
Job Specifications & Scope of Responsibility:

Business Partner

Provides HR advice, coaching and expertise to country and regional operations managers
Promotes Global Project Support Team (GPS) when required to support major project proposals
Plays a significant role in attracting and developing talent for key positions in country
Provides guidance and direction for local legislation and compliance issues related to HR, administrative and payroll issues
Recruitment and Staffing

Works in close partnership with the OneHR Enterprise services Talent Acquisition & Deployment Centre (TADC) team and to ensure that recruitment and staffing services for both local national and expatriate staff for the region meet the business needs
Works in close partnership with OneHR Enterprise services Compensation & Benefits team to support the development and management of regional compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitive position for both local national and expatriate staff
Participates and supports year-end merit and incentive pay process, equity review and analysis, market evaluation, including country pay practices and total compensation package development and reward and recognition programs.
Talent/Performance Management

Individual Development Plan (IDP) process
Performance Enhancement Process (PEP/PIP)
Input to Training and Development strategies
Employee discipline and general performance improvement
Termination management
International Assignment Management

Partners with the Global Mobility team with the development and implementation of International assignment terms and conditions; Works with Global Mobility team to participate in project proposals, providing HR pricing, employment terms and conditions for international locations for both expatriate and national staff
Provide administrative services for expatriate staff within the region (home leave administration, Visa and immigration oversight support, housing/transport lease administration)Provides guidance and oversight for immigration, tax and other local legislative compliance issues
HR Data Analysis, Metrics and Reporting

Works in close partnership with OneHR Enterprise Services in the development of international HR work processes, documentation, metrics and data collection
Works with HR team to oversee HR data integrity issues
Leverages reports and data downloads used to manage the international HR and operations processes, such as turnover, grade mix, assignment location, diversity, longevity, expatriate assignment status
Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge. These points should align with the key areas of responsibility:
Education, Experience, & Certifications:

BS degree or equivalent experience, CIPD or equivalent preferred.
10 to 12 years experience preferred.
Must be able to travel
Expereince of working as a HR business partner at management levels; Ability to build effective relationship with employees at all levels of the organization and to influence senior level management
Demonstrated ability to operate independently and use sound judgment with limited functional guidance and oversight
Degree Required

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
