Project Manager- Speciality Handling

General Summary of the position:

To develop a specialty handling and packing division within the Moving and Logistics products. Specialty handling services include:

1.Project cargo lashing and securing
2.Packing, crating and skidding
3.Transport and handling of heavy and out of gauge equipment
4.Transport and storing of OCTG

Primary Responsibilities:

Implement and manage project handling teams throughout Move One offices in Middle East and Central Asia
Establish and implement training programs geared to special handling services
On boarding new projects and implementing and improving operations
Review project standard operating procedures and implement corrective actions if needed
Plan and schedule project timelines
Maintain client relations and ensure client satisfaction, complete requirement fulfillment and overall project success
Minimize operational costs, optimize efficiency, increase project profitability
Identifying and obtaining required certification and licensing for performing of services

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in the field of project logistics
Has managed the transport and storing of OCTG/Tubular goods
Panned and managed heavy lift operations for EPC’s
Good understanding of proper blocking, bracing and lashing of all types of cargo
Basic HSE and Compliance training geared to Oil and Gas industry
Prior knowledge of shipping in the Middle East and understanding of transport throughout GCC
Native English speaker (written and verbal)
Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with web-based applications
Experience in all multi-modual modes of transport

Education

Bachelor’s Degree graduate
