Principal Accountabilities
Setting the audit strategy and developing an audit plan using an appropriate risk based methodology
Development of an internal audit policy and procedures
Performing financial, operational, system and process audits of the company’s business units and outsourced operations
Responsible for planning, executing and completing audit fieldwork according to the audit plan, recommending internal control improvements that may include operational enhancements or efficiencies
Maintain a current knowledge base of audit industry practices and to ensure best practices are adopted as appropriate

Qualifications and Experience (Minimum Requirements)
Bachelors Degree from a recognisable university
Professional qualification ACA, CIA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent gained from a Big 4 organisation
6 – 10 years working experience in the similar role preferably from a leading financial firm

The Role
Job Purpose:

Responsibilities include the following:
To supervise EPC Contractor’s activities during detailed design, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning stages, including review of reports, attending meetings, monitoring of resource levels, monitoring of compliance to DEP’s, HSE etc.
To maintain proper integration with ADCO Operational, Maintenance and HSE philosophies and practices.
To maintain proper integration with existing facilities and installations.
To review and evaluation of equipment bids for technical compliance, review/ approval of vendor drawings, participation in witness testing, review and approval of TPI reports, coordination of SPIR’s for commissioning & operating spares.
Requirements
B.Sc. in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent. 10-12 years experience with 8 years minimum experience in oil/ gas production and processing, petrochemicals and other hydrocarbon related projects.
Familiarity with SHELL DEP Standards is strongly preferred for this discipline.

The Role
