Job Description:     Role : Cloud Automation Sales Specialist
This is a Sales role which will be rewarded through a combination of Salary and regional sales achievement. The salesperson will be required to establish and maintain relationships with Data Center decision makers focused on Cloud, Service Catalog / Portal and automation and/or orchestration of Server, Application, Operating System and Server/Desktop Virtualization architectures. The specialist will also work with specialist partners outside of Cisco’s traditional networking sphere of influence.

In this position, you will be directly responsible for product and services sales of Cisco Intelligent Automation soluitions.
You will be working alongside Cisco Datacenter Sales Specialists, Cisco Account Managers, Cisco Services Sales and Cisco Sales Engineers.
As such, you will excel in establishing yourself as a trusted customer advisor, as well as being a mentor to other salespeople and team members.

Responsibilities

As a Product Sales Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Understand and be able to present Cisco’s Cloud proposition and the applicability of Intelligent Automation to that proposition
• Grow the critical mass of customer facing sales individuals capable of recognising, qualifying and executing IA opportunities to provide sales scale out for the EMEAR sales territory
• Establish a viable and achievable territory plan to generate pipeline of 3 x target and synchronising plan with local datacenter sales leads
• Making executive calls and presentations articulating the business value of Cisco Intelligent Automation to customers and partners
• Presenting and articulating Cisco’s Unified Data Center strategy at industry events
• Engaging with Cisco Product Sales Specialist, Account Managers, Systems Engineers and Regional Managers to:
? Plan sales strategy
? Develop proposals
? Deliver customer presentations and/or demonstrations
? Close business
• Skills and Experience

• Minimum five years sales specialist experience in management software, in particular service portals, automation/workflow technology, IT Service Catalog / ITIL CMDB and alternative ITSM technologies.
• Ideally with experience of server or data center infrastructure sales.

Knowledge of the following would be beneficial:-

o Expertise in Data Center management and provisioning tool e.g. TIVOLI, BMC, HPs Adaptive Infrastructure & Virtual Connect
o Knowledge of diverse Data Center technologies including infrastructure components (SAN, LAN, server), OS software (Windows, Linux, Solaris), Virtualization software (VMware, Xen, HyperV), application software (Oracle Fusion, WebSphere, SAP platforms), and management and automation platforms (Tivoli, Openview, Blade Logic, Scalant).
o Blade server deployment and management.
o Proven track record in managing and winning Data Center solutions opportunities with the ability to work unsupervised; able to interact as a value-added team member
o Experienced in multi-level selling, comfortable influencing CxO, IT Managers, Purchasing, etc
o Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as good listening and strong presentation skills.
o Understand, articulate and position both internally and externally Cisco’s end-to-end Data Center Architectures and Services incorporating UCS, Application Networking Services, Storage, Security, Switching and Infiniband technologies with a specific focus on UCS
o Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and multiple levels of the organizations (AM, SE, RM, SEM, OD, SSEM, Partners, Channels, etc.)
o Able to lead a solutions sales approach versus a product “box drop”
o This person must work well in teams, understand Cisco’s enterprise engagement model and be able to create a win-win environment for key Data Center solution partners
o Must have passion for driving Cisco’s Unified Data Center solution with specific focus in Unified Mangement; strong personality with demonstrated leadership skills working in a complex matrix organization; strong presence and credibility established with the client base and internally
